Keep up with conversations without keeping ShiftStay open. These optional alerts are for this browser and website address only.

Private preview: “You have a new message. Open ShiftStay to read it.” No message content, names, or housing addresses appear on your lock screen.

Push is not supported in this browser context. On supported iPhones/iPads, first add ShiftStay to your Home Screen and open it there. Device settings, connectivity, or a fully quit browser may delay delivery.

Background delivery is not ready yet. Existing in-app messages still work.

Try a notification

After enabling this browser, send yourself a private test alert. One test per minute; no message is sent to another member.

Saved devices

Choose Remove to stop delivery to any saved device, even if you no longer have it. Up to five devices per account.

Closing the website does not opt you out. Explicitly signing out disconnects push on this browser. On a shared device, sign out when finished. An alert already delivered to a device may remain visible until dismissed.

Changing from the old address to the new domain requires a separate opt-in; permission is never transferred automatically.
